Iceye, the Polish-Finnish manufacturer of Earth observation microsatellites, continues its meteoric rise. Now valued at 10 billion euros, it is a European success story in the space sector.
In the space sector, SpaceX wasn't the only company to experience an exceptional IPO in early June . The Polish-Finnish champion Iceye also shone. Just days before the American giant's IPO, the young European company, which has been launching microsatellites into orbit since 2018, completed a spectacular €450 million fundraising round. Including share sales by existing shareholders, the Series F round reached a total of €1 billion. This is yet another success for the European leader in SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) technology for Earth observation. The arrival of these new international investors – General Atlantic, Nokia, and others – brings its valuation to over €10 billion, four times its projected value in December 2025 .
