US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee proposes expelling Hamas and Hezbollah members to Iran.
In a message posted on social media on Wednesday, Mike Huckabee responded to Iranian demands that Israel cease its operations on the Lebanese border against Hezbollah.
The American ambassador also addressed the peace plan for Gaza, which he said hinges on the disarmament of Hamas. He then put forward a radical proposal: expelling all members of Hamas and Hezbollah to Iran, which he described as their "mothership."
According to Mike Huckabee, such a measure would free Lebanon and Israel from the influence of groups supported by Tehran and "give peace a chance".
This statement comes as Iran has accused Israel of repeatedly violating the ceasefire in southern Lebanon in recent days. The Iranian headquarters Khatam al-Anbiya claimed that Israel had committed 84 violations since the US declared the end of the war.
